Quaternary Australasia

Quaternary Australasia (formerly Australian Quaternary Newsletter) is the official journal and newsletter of the Australasian Quaternary Association. QA is published twice a year and publishes:

  • Peer-reviewed research articles
  • Conference and workshop reports
  • News items, including information about upcoming conferences
  • Editorials and President’s reports
  • Book reviews
  • Thesis abstracts
  • Recent publications

All AQUA members automatically receive a copy of QA. Since 2009, QA has been published online through the Australian ePrinter, Informit. Most Australasian institutional libraries hold a subscription to this online publisher. Recent issues can be found following this link.

Research articles – QA publishes short papers of local significance to Australasia. These papers are reviewed by a referee and the editor. Instructions to authors.

Other reports – QA publishes reports on conferences, meetings and workshops of interest to the Australasian Quaternary community. For formatting, please follow the instructions to authors.

Recent Publications – Please follow the format for QA research papers for submitted lists of recent publications. Instructions to authors.
